JOURNAL HISTORY
JOURNAL HISTORY
2005 - The journal started its journey by publishing its first volume. In the early days, from Volume 1 to Volume 6 (2005 - 2010), the journal published only one issue per year. This limited publication reflected the early phase of the journal’s development, where the main focus was building the content’s foundation and quality.
2011 - Since Volume 7, the journal underwent a significant change by increasing the frequency of publication to two editions per year, in the middle and end of the year. This change aims to improve accessibility and continuity of publication and provide more opportunities for authors to publish their research.
2013 - The journal’s publication frequency was updated to two fixed annual editions, in June and December. This schedule was consistent until 2014 when the journal decided to make further adjustments to the publishing schedule.
2014 - The journal has been published regularly in August and December each year. This adjustment was made to better align with the academic cycle and ease the publication process for authors.
2017 - In the digital era, the journal transitioned to an online platform using Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 2. OJS version 2 allows readers and authors easier and more efficient access to the journal and provides various publication management features.
March 2024 - the journal migrated to OJS version 3. This step was taken to address issues related to Digital Object Identifier (DOI) settings and to utilize the advanced features offered by the latest version of OJS. The migration process was not without its challenges, and to date, the journal is still adjusting to resolve some of the issues that arose during the migration process.
August 2024 - Jurnal Telematika received Sinta 3 accreditation for free from the Ministry of Education and Culture, but the exact date of its inception is still being determined. The accreditation is listed on the Sinta website from 2018 to 2022. Jurnal Telematika is applying for Sinta Accreditation for the first time in 2024.
Through this journey, our journal continues to be committed to improving the quality and accessibility of scientific publications and adapting to technological developments and the needs of the academic community.
