DOKU is the first digital wallet service that was present in Indonesia in 2007. On the Play Store and Apps Store platforms, there were more than 20,000 reviews from users at the end of June 2022 which contains not a few users providing criticism and complaints about the DOKU application regarding features that have not been able to meet user needs and the lack of comfort of the interface in the current DOKU application. With the findings of these problems, it is necessary to determine the level of usability of the DOKU application, make interface recommendation designs for the DOKU application that are in accordance with user needs based on the evaluation of the DOKU application design, and also determine the level of usability of the recommended design of the DOKU application after improvements are made using usability testing, SUS questionnaires, and a design process approach with the User Centered Design (UCD) method. The aspects that become the basis of reference in evaluating the DOKU application’s usability are learnability, efficiency, and satisfaction. In the first test, the usability value of the DOKU application in the learnability aspect was 90% and 74.16%, the efficiency aspect was 0.00779 Goals/Sec and 0.00356 Goals/Sec, and the satisfaction aspect was 38.5 and 35. After the recommendation design for the DOKU application was produced, the usability value became better with the learnability aspect of 99% and 98%, the efficiency aspect was 0.001101 Goals/Sec and 0.00908 Goals/Sec, and the satisfaction aspect was 84.5 and 75.
