Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang kasus perkembangan penggunaan telepon genggam serta dampak sosial yang ditimbulkan. Fokus pembahasan pada kasus yang umum terjadi di Indonesia, yang memiliki latar belakang beragam. Ketidaksiapan masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya menyebabkan situasi yang tak terduga seperti munculnya gegar budaya serta perilaku konsumtif yang sulit diatasi dewasa ini. Kondisi yang merugikan banyak pihak ini berlanjut tanpa disadari dampaknya.
