Perancangan E-Commerce dengan Business Model Canvas untuk Peningkatan Penjualan pada Toko Parfum

This research takes a case study in a shop engaged in the sale of perfume. In its business process, the perfume shop has problems, including the product ordering process, which takes a little longer. The seller must tell the price of the product, check the available stock of the product, and confirm with the customer the availability of the product. So, it takes longer for each transaction that occurs. An error also occurred when recording data and lost information in paper form. Therefore, this perfume shop needs an e-commerce business using a website to solve these problems. E-commerce website built based on a content management system (CMS) with the WordPress application. CMS can create, organize, distribute, publish, and maintain a company or institution's information without having to master HTML tags to apply it. One of the CMS applications is WordPress, which is easy to use. The step taken is analyzing business processes with a Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach, then building an e-commerce business by designing a website based on a Content Management System (CMS) with Wordpress. This website-based e-commerce business can transform conventional business models into e-commerce business models to increase product sales, reduce data recording errors, and generate sales reports with data stored in databases. This system can also make it easier for customers to place orders online and get product information to make the purchasing process more efficient.
Penelitian ini mengambil studi kasus di toko yang bergerak di bidang penjualan parfum. Dalam proses bisnisnya toko parfum tersebut mempunyai masalah, di antaranya proses pemesanan produk memakan waktu sedikit lama. Penjual harus memberi tahu harga produk, memeriksa stok produk yang tersedia, dan mengonfirmasi kepada pelanggan akan ketersediaan produk, sehingga memerlukan waktu lebih lama pada setiap transaksi yang terjadi. Terjadi kesalahan juga pada saat pencatatan data dan hilangnya informasi dalam bentuk kertas. Oleh karena itu, toko parfum ini membutuhkan sebuah bisnis e-commercemenggunakan website untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Website e-commerce yang dibangun berbasis content management system (CMS) dengan aplikasi WordPress. CMS dapat membuat, mengatur, mendistribusikan, mempublikasikan, dan menjaga sebuah informasi suatu perusahaan atau institusi tanpa harus menguasai tag HTML untuk mengaplikasikannya. Salah satu aplikasi CMS adalah WordPress yang mudah digunakan. Langkah yang dilakukan adalah menganalisis proses bisnis dengan pendekatan Business Model Canvas (BMC), kemudian membangun bisnis e-commerce dengan merancang website berbasis Content Management System (CMS) dengan WordPress. Bisnis e-commerce yang dibuat berbasis website ini dapat mengubah model bisnis konvensional menjadi model bisnis e-commerce untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk, mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan data, dan menghasilkan laporan penjualan dengan data yang tersimpan di dalam database. Sistem ini juga dapat memudahkan pelanggan melakukan pemesanan secara online dan mendapatkan informasi produkagar proses pembelian menjadi lebih efisien.
