Simulasi Arus Lalu Lintas Menggunakan Perangkat Lunak Simulink

The optimization of the road network can be done by trying various events in the real world and observing it’s effect to the network. So the traffic simulation is needed. In this study, the road traffic flow is assumed to follows Gaussian distribution. Characteristics of Gaussian distributions that can be used is average and variance of traffic flow data and average traffic and variance data directly entered by the user. The program proposed will produce a visual of moving vehicles in forms of dots according to certain scale. In this study simulated two-way traffic so that the dots are set to have different colors based on the direction of the simulated vehicle. To examine the traffic simulation proposed, used observations data on Jalan Dipatiukur for four hours on September 20, 2017 from 06.00-10.00 a nd observation data on July 09, 2018, at the same time and hour. The simulations generated based on both traffic flow data produce a similar appearance. This proves that the simulation proposed in this study have a satisfactory consistency because the traffic flow data from the same day and time will produce a similar appearance.
Optimalisasi jalan bisa dilakukan dengan mencoba berbagai kejadian di dunia nyata dan mengamati dampak kejadian tersebut terhadap kondisi lalu lintas. Untuk itu perlu dibuat simulasi arus lalu lintas. Pada penelitian ini arus lalu lintas diasumsikan mengikuti distribusi Gaussian. Karakteristik distribusi Gaussian yang digunakan dapat didasarkan pada nilai rata-rata dan variansi dari data hasil pengamatan arus lalu lintas maupun nilai rata-rata dan variansi yang dimasukkan langsung oleh pengguna. Program yang dibuat akan menciptakan visual kendaraan berjalan yang berbentuk sekumpulan titik-titik berdasarkan skala tertentu. Pada penelitian ini disimulasikan dua arah lalu lintas sehingga titik-titik yang dimunculkan dibuat beda warnanya berdasarkan arah gerak kendaraan yang disimulasikan. Untuk menguji simulasi yang diciptakan, digunakan data hasil pengamatan lapangan di ruas Jalan Dipatiukur selama empat jam pada tanggal 20 September 2017 dari pukul 06.00-10.00 dan data pengamatan pada tanggal 09 Juli 2018, pada jam dan tempat yang sama. Simulasi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan data arus lalu lintas dari kedua data tersebut menghasilkan tampilan yang serupa. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa simulasi yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini memiliki konsistensi yang memuaskan karena simulasi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan arus lalu lintas dari hari dan waktu yang sama akan menghasilkan tampilan yang serupa.
