Desain Sistem Online untuk Pengelolaan Tenant di Kantin Kampus Perguruan Tinggi

The purpose of this research is to produce a design system for managing tenants in the campus canteen of the University. The canteen in the Higher Education environment is a facility for sales and purchase transactions between tenants and buyers in the college canteen environment. In order for the business process to run well, a mediator is usually held by a special unit from the University whose task is to choose tenants, make cooperation agreements with tenants, register menus for each tenant, and determine profit sharing between managers and tenants. In general, not all universities provide great attention related to the business process because there is no direct correlation between the canteen management business process and the improvement of the quality of education. Whereas the canteen within a Higher Education environment has great potential in generating income considering that the captive market of consumers in the campus environment is the entire academic community. This is what encourages researcher to make an online system-based tenant management that aims to make it easier for canteen managers in universities. This study designed an online canteen management system including tenant data collection, menu data collection for each tenant, as well as setting menu prices and profit sharing. using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the Waterfall model and designed using object-oriented methods. The design of this study was only carried out until the design process.
Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu rancangan sistem pengelolaan penyewa lapak jual (tenant) di kantin kampus perguruan tinggi. Kantin pada lingkungan perguruan tinggi merupakan sebuah sarana untuk transaksi penjualan dan pembelian antara tenant dengan pembeli di lingkungan kantin perguruan tinggi. Agar proses bisnis berjalan dengan baik, dibutuhkan mediator yang umumnya dipegang oleh unit khusus bagian dari perguruan tinggi yang bertugas memilih tenant, membuat perjanjian kerjasama dengan tenant, pendaftaran menu untuk setiap tenant, serta penentuan profit sharing antara pengelola dengan tenant. Pada umumnya tidak semua perguruan tinggi memberikan atensi yang besar terkait dengan proses bisnis tersebut karena tidak adanya keterkaitan langsung antara proses bisnis pengelolaan kantin dengan peningkatan kualitas Pendidikan secara langsung. Padahal kantin didalam suatu lingkungan perguruan tinggi berpotensi besar dalam menghasilkan pendapatan mengingat captive market dari konsumen yang ada di lingkungan kampus adalah seluruh civitas akademika. Hal inilah yang mendorong dilakukannya penelitian yang menghasilkan desain perancangan sistem untuk pengelolaan tenant berbasis sistem online yang bertujuan agar memudahkan pihak pengelola kantin di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini merancang sistem online pengelolaan kantin meliputi pendataan tenant, pendataan menu setiap tenant, serta penentuan harga menu dan profit sharing menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model Waterfall serta dirancang menggunakan metode berorientasi objek. Rancangan penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai proses desain.
