Penerapan Metode Taguchi Dalam Interaksi Komposisi Batako Pres Terhadap Kualitas Daya Serap Dan Daya Tekan Batako

The press brick factory is one of the business sectors with a level of demand that tends to increase every year. The quality of the press brick used as building material must have good quality that can maintain the strength of existing buildings. The quality in question is the compressive strength and absorption of water produced must be in accordance with the requirements of SNI (Indonesian National Standard) that have been determined, the standard used today is SNI 03-0349-1989. P.D. Cijati Jaya is a factory that produces press brick, but there are still many problems with the quality of its products. Quality is not good, like fast breaking and brittle. The purpose of this research is to design the composition of press brick raw materials so that the products produced are of the quality according to SNI. The method used is the Taguchi method. Factors that influence the compressive strength and absorbency that will produce better quality are (A) Stirring Length (11 Minutes), (B) Pressure (60 Kg), (C) Water (0.14 Liter), (D) Long Drying, (8 Days) and (E) Composition of Sand-Lime (0.25 kg; 1.75 kg). According to SNI this quality is in the standard quality 1 to 2.
Pabrik batako pres menjadi salah satu bidang usaha dengan tingkat permintaan yang relatif terus bertambah setiap tahunnya. Kualitas batako pres yang dipakai sebagai bahan bangunan harus mempunyai kualitas yang bagus yang dapat mempertahankan kekuatan bangunan yang ada. Kualitas yang dimaksud adalah kuat tekan dan daya serap air yang dihasilkan harus sesuai dengan syarat-syarat SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) yang telah di tentukan, standar yang digunakan saat ini yaitu SNI 03-0349-1989. P.D. Cijati Jaya adalah pabrik yang memproduksi batako pres, tapi masih banyak masalah dengan kualitas produknya. Kualitas belum bagus, seperti cepat pecah dan rapuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang komposisi bahan baku batako pres agar produk yang dihasilkanberkualitas sesuai SNI. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Taguchi. Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kuat tekan dan daya serap yang akan menghasilkan Kualitas lebih baik yaitu (A) Lama Adukan (11 Menit), (B) Tekanan (60 Kg), (C) Air (0,14 Liter), (D) Lama Pengeringan, (8 Hari) dan (E) Komposisi Kapur-Pasir (0,25 kg ; 1,75 kg). Menurut SNI kualitas ini berada pada standar kualitas I-II.
