Penjadwalan Penggantian Pahat Mesin Bubut pada Pembuatan Crank Shaft Sepeda Motor

The research process is to make the schedule of the cutting tools replacement that fit the MTTF by using weibull distribution and determine the number of stock cutting tools in a month. The research phase is done in turning machine's crank shaft by using secondary data, where operators on turning machines fill out a form about the replacement new cutting tools time and cutting tools rotate side. Data processing is done by determining the distribution of data using Minitab software 17, calculate the mean time to failure (MTTF) and the amount of stock that must be provided by the company for one month on the turning machine's crank shaft. Results of the research is a weibull distribution's pattern for the fourth cutting tools and obtained MTTF for each cutting tools, namely turning face and notching's cutting tools is in the amount of 240 parts, and grooving and finish grooving's cutting tools is in the amount of 957 parts. So, the amount of stock that must be provided division of M/C crank shaft for turning face cutting tools is 38 pieces, notching's cutting tools is 36 pieces, grooving's cutting tools is 29 pieces, and finish grooving's cutting tools is 17 pieces.
Suatu sistem produksi yang efektif dan efisien merupakan keharusan yang dimiliki oleh para pelaku bisnis. Kompetisi tersebut menuntut perusahaan untuk menghasilkan produk dengan kualitas yang baik. Perusahaan melakukan produksi selama 24 jam. Proses penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat pola penggantian pahat sesuai mean time to failure (MTTF) dengan distribusi Weibull dan menentukan jumlah stok pahat selama satu bulan. Tahap penelitian dilakukan pada mesin bubut crank shaft dengan menggunakan data sekunder, di mana operator pada mesin bubut mengisi suatu form kapan operator mengganti pahat baru dan memutar sisi pahat. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menentukan distribusi data menggunakan software Minitab 17.1, menghitung mean time to failure (MTTF) dan menghitung jumlah stok yang harus disediakan oleh perusahaan selama satu bulan pada mesin bubut crank shaft. Jadwal penggantian pahat pada mesin bubut crank shaft kiri menggunakan solusi alternatif kedua, di mana pahat turning face dan notching diganti setelah memproses 240 part, untuk pahat grooving dan finish grooving diganti setelah memproses 957 part. Dengan demikian, pahat grooving dan finish grooving akan diganti atau diputar ketika pahat turning face dan notching melakukan set-up yang keempat. Persediaan pahat yang harus disediakan perusahaan selama satu bulan pada mesin turning adalah 38 buah untuk pahat turning face, 36 buah pahat notching, 29 buah untuk pahat grooving, dan 17 buah untuk pahat finish grooving.
