Perancangan Aplikasi Informasi Jalur dan Tarif Angkutan Umum di Kota Bandung

Angkutan umum merupakan salah satu kebutuhan masyarakat di kota Bandung. Banyaknya angkutan umum di kota Bandung membuat pengguna kesulitan mengidentifikasi jalur yang tepat. Tidak semua pengguna angkutan umum di kota Bandung mengetahui berbagai jalur yang dilalui oleh angkutan umum. Para pengguna angkutan umum memerlukan informasi jalur yang akurat dan mudah diakses. Berdasarkan masalah ini muncul gagasan untuk membuat aplikasi yang memuat informasi jalur dan tarif angkutan umum di kota Bandung. Perancangan aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk memberi informasi kepada masyarakat mengenai jalur angkutan melalui aplikasi yang akan mudah diakses melalui smartphone. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan dari penelitian terdahulu yang mengangkat gagasan aplikasi untuk jalur angkutan umum di kota Bandung. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode eksperimen dengan melakukan beberapa tahap yaitu menentukan tema inovasi, mengumpulkan data, memilah data, menentukan spesifikasi rancangan aplikasi, membuat studi eksperimen media dan studi visual, serta tahap terakhir adalah membuat simulasi karya. Aplikasi ini menekankan pada tiga hal yaitu rancangan aplikasi menampilkan jalur alternatif dan informasi tariff yang memberi kemudahan bagi pengguna untuk memilih angkutan umum yang tepat. pembagian jalur berdasarkan warna dapat membantu para pengguna untuk mengidentifikasi perpindahan angkutan umum yang akan mereka tuju. Selanjutnya sistem navigasi yang dirancang akan membantu pengguna untuk mengetahui tempat di mana harus naik atau turun dari kendaraan umum.
Public transportation is one of the needs of people in Bandung. The number of public transportation in Bandung makes the user difficult to identify the right route. Not all users of public transportation in Bandung know the various routes that are passed by public transportation. Users of public transport require accurate and accessible route information. Based on this problem came the idea to create an application that contains information on public transportation routes and tariff in Bandung. The design of this application aims to provide information to the public about the route of transportation through applications that will be easily accessed via smartphone. This research is a development of previous research that raised the idea of the application for public transportation in Bandung. The methodology in this research uses experimental method approach by performing several stages of determining innovation theme, collecting data, sorting data, determining application design specification, making the study of media experiment and visual study, and the last step is making simulation works. This application emphasizes on three things: The design of the application displays an alternative route and tariff information that makes it easy for users to choose the right public transportation. The distribution of route by color can help users to identify the movement of public transportation they will go to. Furthermore, the designed navigation system will help the user to know where to go up or down from public transport.
