Communication process is a crucial need for human as a social beings. Since the invention of social media, communication started to be applied freely, not being limited by time and places. Social media helps connecting people, but in other side, communication process in social media tend to increase miscommunication risks, especially for Indonesian’s teenagers as part of our 72 million active social media users. Nowadays, people seem to perceive social media as a primary needs and not as a complementary needs anymore.Previously, social media has purpose to socialize each other, but present, it has shifted a lot, creating an antisocial and antipathetic generation. Therefore, the teenagers need to be reminded about the importance to value the communication ethics in social media to produce a more respectful generation. One of the solution is to create a social campaign. With this study and research, hopefully the teenagers generation could apply the proper ethical communication in social media to give a positive impact for the young generations to come.
