Penentuan Jadwal Pemeliharaan Pencegahan dan Perhitungan Kebutuhan Komponen Kritis pada Mesin Tuber 645M dan Bottomer 713B-2 untuk Menunjang Availability Mesin (Studi Kasus: PT IKSG)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jadwal pemeliharaan pencegahan dan penentuan jumlah komponen yang diperlukan untuk kegiatan pemeliharaan pencegahan bagi mesin Tuber 645M dan Bottomer 713B-2. Kedua mesin ini merupakan mesin kritis bagi sistem produksi di PT Industri Kemasan Semen Gresik (IKSG). Sebelumnya, pemeliharaan terhadap kedua mesin ini dilakukan secara korektif saja. Akibatnya proses produksi sering terhenti secara mendadak dan mendatangkan berbagai kerugian. Lamanya penghentian produksi dapat bertambah jika komponen yang dibutuhkan untuk pemeliharaan tidak tersedia. Penentuan jadwal pemeliharaan dan penentuan jumlah komponen dilakukan dengan pendekatan statistik, yaitu identifikasi pola distribusi kerusakan dan perhitungan rataan waktu antar kerusakan dari berbagai jenis kerusakan pada kedua mesin. Jadwal ditentukan sedemikian rupa sehingga ketersediaan mesin meningkat.
This research aims to create preventive maintenance (PM) schedule for two critical machines (Tuber 645M and Bottomer 713B-2) at PT Industri Kemasan Semen Gresik (IKSG), along with the calculation of critical component stock needed to conduct the PM activities. Current maintenance practices are based only on corrective attempt; this practice caused production loss due to random stoppage of production process. To conduct PM, critical components are needed. The absence of these components can lengthen the production stoppage therefore increase production loss. We used statistical approach to identify the machine failure pattern and the corresponding mean time to failure. Maintenance schedule is designed to increase machine availability.
