Berlakunya Free Trade Area (dan/atau Agreement) menuju integrasi pasar yang lebih jauh di antara beberapa negara regional, menuntut perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia untuk memiliki daya saing yang lebih baik. Resource Based Theory menyatakan bahwa sumberdaya yang dimiliki perusahaan: physical capital, human capital, dan organizational capital yang ‘costly to imitate’ adalah sumber dari sustainable competitive advantage (SCA). Menggunakan kerangka teoretikal yang dikembangkan melalui studi literatur, tulisan ini mempelajari hubungan sumberdaya- khususnya kapabilitas organisasi - terhadap kinerja organisasi, serta mengidentifikasi kapabilitas organisasi yang memiliki potensi signifikan bagi perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia agar mampu bersaing di era perdagangan bebasReferences
